Roles & Responsibilities
Inspect and test products
Conduct inspections on raw materials and finished goods & staff facilities to ensure quality standards and specifications
Monitor & adhere to standards:
Monitor operations to ensure they align with production standards, company quality systems and regulatory requirements
Documentation & record keeping:
Maintain accurate & consistent records of inspections, tests, quality issues & quality related activities
Reporting:
Report all issues to relevant departments
Investigate non conformance and proper root cause analysis to be determined
Offer effective preventative action
Communication
Good communication skills, proficient in English & Zulu. Reading and writing
Computer skills:
Proficient in word, excel and ppt
Analytical skills:
Ph, viscosity, titration, brix
Organoleptic testing:
Good palette for tasting of raw materials, sauces and spices
General:
Assertive, strong, able to multitask, work under pressure, willing to learn and offer suggestions
Ability to work in a team and alone
Professional, good mannerisms, self motivated, hard working & meticulous
